In my approach, Collage is a technique in which

i feel a particular creative fulfilment, due to the multidimensionality it invokes throughout the process.

In the creative and productive process of the first set, which took about eight weeks in a phased work, although all the pieces used in the Collage are collected from magazines in an un-associated way, each one brings about an unfolding associative foresight, which only manifests itself at a later stage in the process. Once removed from their previous context, in most cases that context fades from my memory and each piece returns to its essence, freed to be re-associated in new insights, without transgressing, fragmenting or degrading any piece, but rather transcending, integrating and elevating to the next level pieces where i detect a potential to invoke broader readings in the recipients.

Portraying times of transition in which out of the said old is made the New, this type of creative act has become contemporarily known in various forms of Art as ReEdit or ReMix culture. However, although my approach contains elements from culture, it is not orientated towards generating more and new elements in the same cultural sphere, but rather to take Art beyond the cultural sphere.

In these Art Edits in the form of postcards, the New is (re)born from the (re)connection to Essence, in a rescued and re-treated expression, here resulting in combinations that honour all the elements by invoking a Universal direction, which is after all and always the real internal function of Art as a mirror of the Gold in Life.

Created as a unique, numbered, irreproducible edition, each postcard is an original intended to be

the gift itself.

The size reflects the width of an ordinary postcard

- 15 cm - but has taken on the original shape of Creation - the circle - redimensioning the concept of

Edgy form and content.

The first series of 36 postcards was created in the Summer of 2012 and has never been exhibited except

on video, although over time i have used some of

the postcards as illustrations in messages

shared collectively.

In 2014 i created a second series - from 37 to 48 - this one made available to the public for the first time, which i haven't added to the Gallery but have also been using as illustrations in Blog posts.
