Multimedia Units
A brief visual approach.

Living in the so-called Information Age, at the same time as we have lived with its virtues and vices, we have also witnessed the collapse of certain languages and their media, in the face of the emergence of other languages on mixed media in the Digital Age, which has multiplied the volume of information exponentially.
As multimedia is the most marked aspect of today's communication, i chose physical data supports such as CDs and DVDs, in view of their circular shape, to project Information & Communication into its next sphere.
Combining tactile and visual elements consonant with significant content to be recorded on the data support, I appeal to the total senses, both in the sender and the receiver, for a conscious reading of the form and content which captures the Essence, rising above the external immediacy and automatism typically requested and aroused by the mass media.
Transcending the unconscious collective conditioning created around mass media involves deceleration,
de-automatisation and demassification towards the Universalisation that emerges around Essence, translating into Media illuminated and textured by Human Multidimensionality in a Multi-Media Unity.
The Multimedia Units are therefore another invitation
to the synthesising Centre of duality - its two faces, sometimes identical and sometimes distinct, both lit by the Central Point of Light, are unified as One. Inside is an empty CD - silence and potential - and at the top is a
1 m golden string for hanging - vertical alignment with the higher spheres.
Suggested applications:
- original cover for CDs and DVDs of musical, videographic, written or vocal compositions, including personal or professional projects to be presented or offered | personal mandala with content of the same nature | set of Units forming an intentional mobile, emitting and imprinting higher vibrations in a given space.
All mandalas are handmade and can be customised upon evaluation.
